With a 100% cotton sheet, moisture makes a big difference in laying down ink. A slightly damp sheet will make a solid area less “salty” looking and the color more saturated. We just mist the sheets with a spray bottle and leave them sit in a pile for a half hour. Keep them in a plastic bag between colors if you need to do multiple colors.
