We letterpress printed this poster on our Heidelberg 21 x 28 cylinder. You can see in the photo details, the polymer plate is positioned in the press on a custom made full size 21 x 28 inch Boxcar Base. The poster is printed with extra tight register (no trapping) on 100% cotton Crane Lettra Fluorescent White 110lbC and trimmed to a final size of 16 x 24 inches.

Lovely poster, really adorable!
That rocks! Good job!
What is trapping?
Nice job!
Trapping is a prepress file modification to make tiny areas of overlap between two colors. This allows a little forgiveness in registration. But not all artwork lends itself well to adding trap. When we need it, we generally add our trapping or choking manually in Adobe Illustrator before sending to film.
I am really happy to see that you placed some images of the process work in here. I would love to get a chance to delve into the whole workings of your monstrous iron beasts.
Is there any chance that these posters are for sale anywhere? I have a lovely space on my wall this would fit quite wonderfully!
Scratch that. Found the promo code above. Thanks much!

It’s so beautiful. Mine arrived in the mail a few weeks ago, and is now proudly up on the wall.
