This wedding invitation design by Project o3 channels the lettering stylings of illustrator Ralph Steadman, (think movie logotype for Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas.) There is hardly any text on this invitation, just the most basic info. We thought it was certainly one of the more free spirited invitations we’ve seen and loved it for it’s departure from the more typical ornate weddings.
It is printed on 220lb Crane Lettra Ecru with black, red and light gray ink. The die cut belly band that holds the three cards together is printed with black ink on French Poptone Wild Cherry 100lb cover.

Sweet. I love it…
This stopped me in my tracks. Favorite thing you’ve ever shown on your blog.
Are you kidding me? These are horrible looking. They look like something you would buy at hot topic on sale. I get it. Its crazy and gonzo-esque and letterpress! The ever elusive holy trinity of design. Come on people!
Wow. I guess those two comments capture both ends of the spectrum. Love it or hate it, you gotta admit it’s a vast departure from most anything wedding related. Wedding invitations are a category that always needs shaking. That’s why we like it.
I don’t think Ralph Steadman and Hot Topic are friends…
This design reminds me of the movie “300″. I don’t like it, but it looks like a damn good print job.
Your talents show through with this invitation, however, for a wedding I wouldn’t want the invitation to remind me of the movie Carrie.
Maybe the couple, along with their family and friends are goth. Or vampires. Or zombies. In which case this wedding invite is most appropriate.
Where could I buy invitations like this?
Everything we print is custom – meaning it was designed by another design company or our by studio and printed to specification. We offer no “template” designs.
