Bon à Tirer // Taken from the French, “bon à tirer” is a technical term used by printmakers to indicate the final proof of a print, the standard against which all others in the edition are judged.
We got some shirts printed up by the Hot Snot Print Shop for the AIGA event last week. We’ve also got a bunch left- so we’ll be putting them up on our web-store next week along with the “Birds of Sadness” poster Ben did for the Sweet Hair show a few weeks back. We’ll be sure to let all you fine folks know once they’re ready to be purchased.
The shirt was designed with our good old tabletop manual proofing press, strong wood type and a steady hand.

Do want!
Just a heads up though, while i find your tshirt hilarious, it’s kind of double meaning in french as well, bon a tirer literally means good to fuck in slang…
all the more reason to wear one!
be careful, “Bon à tirer” could also mean “good to be fucked” in french :)
if you’re not in the graphic design industry, you will only understand the sex meaning of this sentence ! (don’t go to a gay bar in Paris with this tshirt :)))
just a precision : it’s only sexual for guys, for girls it should be “Bonne à tirer” (for correct sexual sentense)…
but exept this, it’s a really nice typo tshirt, i would wear it if wasn’t french :)
sorry for my bad english
Let me know when these and the posters will be for sale so I can post in on my blog also.

Way to sneak that boner in there.
Yes, very tricky with the dual meanings! Also, I must point out that the accent is slanting the wrong way on the shirt. Sorry…type nerd here.
