The Wall. Its up- in all its magical glory. So special, so tasty.
There’s a better half of a thousand cans up there and darn near all are (diligently) cracked open from the bottom, preserving the original seal. Also out of all the cans hanging, there’s only a handful of duplicates. We are quite proud of this assemblage of our cultural history and all of us, at one time or daily, have to be reminded to get the hell back to work and stop staring into abyss of an unfortunately long-gone and better era.
Have a good weekend everyone- and for all those in America, “Don’t blow your hands off.”
Gems: (Note late 1970′s “Grain Belt Extreme”)

That is so impressive!
Those pictures made me crave beer, but I have none! Damn you :P
wow! did you try them all?
Plz don’t show this to my brother, He will ran away from my house to taste each and every brand in this show case.
Thanks
Sankar
99 bottle of beer on the wall…99 bottles of beer, take one down…
I’m happy to see we have more than just letterpress printing in common…
Can I stop by some time to check these out? Sweet.
I wish we had a wall like that at our place. In response to your comment about a safe 4th, thought you’d like this work we did for one of our clients.

by-the-way, where did you find all those vintage cans?
We are fortunate to have a very dear uncle who decided he did not want these cans taking up room in his basement. He painstakingly collected these over a decade or two and kept them in pristine condition. They finally have a home on display. Thanks Uncle Pete!
Alan, you are welcome to stop over anytime. Grain Belt Premiums are in the fridge.
Neph and Niece- Terrific display. Let me know if you need to cover another wall… or two… or? I have more in my collection than bro’ Peter ever dreamed of. Ha. BTW… very interesting way to “hang” those cans… What did you use?
Woah – that’d be sweet Stu. Absolutely let us know when you want to move those cans. That many cans must be what heaven looks like. We used tension wires from good old Ikea mounted to the wall. They also sell the little metal clips. They have them with their curtain stuff, but beer cans are so much more noble a use.
Awesome collection, and nicely displayed. What kind of hooks are they hanging on? I might want to use something similar when (if) I ever get around to unboxing and displaying my old collection.
Oops. Should have read all the comments first.

Great collection!
In case you are interested, I have a beer carton (cardboard box style) from the Dakota brewery in Bismarck, ND. I’d sell for $20 plus shipping. It’s from the early 60′s; it may well be the only one still in existence.
what a stunning collection, fab stuff!
