I’m back after a helluva week with some crazy virus. I miss writing this thing!
This is a sweet little business card designed by Andrew Young at Exclamation 101. The information wraps the card from front to back. We letterpress printed them on a thick two ply black museum board. Weight wise, it is about 200lbC which gives virtually no show through. We really like the finish on this sheet too. The impression takes with a nice crisp bite and the black is very dense compared to commercial papers. The metallic silver ink offers great opacity on the black stock.

I love an innovative idea for a business card and this one fits the bill. The printing is amazing! I love the color (or lack there of).
can’t wait to have you guys do my own cards someday. i’m planning a rebrand in the next several months, so first gotta get that done. i don’t think i could resist having another excuse to work with you again :)
What brand of silver ink do you use when printing? Do you print white behind the silver?
We use a Kohl Madden PMS 877 silver here. It is a single hit, no white ink.
I am looking for a card like that with my design on it. Exactly like this paper and type color.
Do you mind telling me how much would cost a run for 500 and 1000 cards?
Thanks
