Our calendar is shaping up to be our sweetest one yet- so I thought I’d smooth in another sneak preview.
This year’s line-up, in addition to Studio On Fire, are Gunderson Jacobs, Rinzen, Clarimus, Justin Blyth, and Adam Garcia.
The thing’s coming out in a couple of weeks (very much in time for the holidays) and we’ll be posting a whole bunch of process shots while it’s on press as well.

We got real riled-up to see a modest handful of our print work featured in the always-wonderful Print Regional Design Annual:

Here in the Twin Cities, we’re lucky enough to have such a great radio station as The Current. A couple of minutes ago we got an on-air shout out for the printing of their Live Current, in-studio album which comes out around the end of the month. They’re on our stereo at the very least six or seven hours out of the day and it made us real proud to hear our name over the airwaves.
The album was very nicely designed and illustrated by Dan Black and Jessica Seamans over at LandLand.

Ben’s Poster Offensive poster is- as of right this second- up for sale in our online shop. Get ‘em while you can since it’s a very limited, hand-numbered run.
Also some nice folks from Ferm Living came in on a little field trip recently and gave us a pretty sweet write-up. Mange Tak!

Swink, the design firm out of Madison, Wisc. has a print job on press right now.
We thought you’d like to see.
Real nice design. Real nice.

So, last night was the AIGA Design Camp committee so-long dinner, and we’ve been sort of adopted as step-children- or something…
Anyways, it was a great time and it was really awesome to work with everyone on such a sweet project- an exceptional thank-you to Aleks and Steve.

We’re back, and just like our neighborly buddy Chicago’s motto- in worse shape than we came in.
Pictures of all the truly great workshops and inspiring speakers could be posted… but wouldn’t you rather take a gander at what really went on in Design Camp’s greasy underbelly of Grain Belt fueled devilry and post-consumer rascality?

To all the proud people we met, laughed with, befriended, refrirended, upset, scared, and scarred: Thank you, we couldn’t have had a better time- no way, no how.
Some of our work has been featured in the current issue of Lucky Magazine and a write up has been published over at MNartists.org. Sweet, sweet deal.
